Cruise control wont engage but shows on dash. (might be a fuse)

Air con needs refilling.

brake flud may have a slow leak in the hose somewhere as i notice i have to top up brake fluid weekly, has only just happened.

Economical Engine (1800cc) 4G93 - Still so energetic.
Battery + Tyres are in great condition

General -
Silver front bumper on at present. Clean, but doesn't match the black.
No rear wiper.
Scratches/general bodywork minor blemishes.
Headunit could possibly use an upgrade. It works though.

Negatives -
Transmission - This car will not engage in 4th gear while cold. Once warm, it engages 4th without any issues, earlier attempts to get into 4th can result in the car jumping out of gear. Turning OverDrive off keeps 4th gear from being used, turn on to enable 4th. Driving car with O/D off eliminates this problem completely. It appears to be caused by a trans fluid leak, not confirmed at present.
Car is dirty.
Paint blemish on one door.
Minor panel damage rear hatch.
Passenger seat fabric torn. Seat covers in place.

This car has been parked up for the last six months. Occasionally runs a little rough when cold, but a good service will make her run like new.

With a little TLC this car would make an EXCELLENT present for your young driver. Or just a daily runabout.

Sold As Is, Reg will be paid to current when sold.

Things To Note
Interior - Interior in condition consistent with age - A little rough.

AC System - Noisy. Currently not used.
Passenger Window Regulator - Not attached.
Auto Trans - BMW AT Fluid is designed to never be changed, but would recommend changing it at about 250ks.
Rear Shocks - Tired, still passing warrants, but occasionally a little bit squeaky.
Brake Pads - Would be a good idea to replace these soon. They're all running a little low.

Van is in good condition and runs well with good power being a turbo. Body has a few scratches and a couple of minor dings on one of the sliding doors and back door. The original speedo broke so I had to get a second hand one which had 168000 on it, but the van has done 302000kms.
Interior is not too bad apart from the heater surround which was cracked before I brought it.

I haven't done the cambelt since i've owned it and not sure when it was done so would recommend getting it done. I cant afford it but got some quotes for around $6-700.
I will throw in spare turbo and starter motor which came off same model van I got the speedo from. Both in excellent condition.
Still have 2000k ruc left to use

Mongoose Immobiliser Alarm only installed 2 months ago. Has 2 alarm key rings.

6 Speed Beams Engine, drives perfectly and have never had any issues while owning this vehicle.
I have put a chrome muffler on it with a silencer that you can have in it or without.

Lowered on TEIN Adjustable Suspension, on 19" Chrome Keissers and all four faces in MINT condition fitted on near new tyres. Has been certed for the suspension also.

Has a CD/Radio player which can also play DVD's and has a screen attached to the roof but needs to be wired up. Has an MP3 cable to plug in MP3's and Ipods etc.

Mint condition interior, has a few minor marks on paint and small chip in one tail light but nothing major at all.

Now ready for get our station wagon so this great little economic run about is ready to move on to next owner.

Interior roof lining sagging when purchased it and as did the previous owner, the price accommodates assuming someone will want to get this replaced. Don't bother with the half measures, I have followed up on the contact previous owner gave me with a very credible firm in Tauranga and was quoted the same for a completely new interior lining fitted for $400.00. I'm happy to give you the info if required and takes 1 day to do. If you purchase for asking price, I will meet you with $200 toward that cost if you use this professional (though no liability to your arrangement is assumed)

We purchased this car as an interim after selling my big 4wheel drive and has served us very well without cost or problems. Have now purchased a station wagon we needed.

Very economical.
Runs really well and has been super reliable for us. A good cut and polish and she'll come up nicely. New WOF was issued May 4th.
Body is typical of age, with shopping cart scratches and wear.
If you ask questions make them clear so I can get my mechanic to answer them as far as specs of this type of vehicle as I'm just the driver. Great first car or second car for town as cheap to run (though maybe a bit too peppy for teens).
